The Hitachi UX21511 Enclosure at first glance is very similar to the Hitachi UX21513, UX21517, UX21518, and other Hitachi enclosures, but it’s different

The Hitachi UX21511 Enclosure uses lamp type LC37. The enclosure is made up of the following pieces:
External Sheet Metal Cage/Housing: part number: NA63991
Internal Sheet Metal: part number: NA72182
Plastic Shell/Cage: NT0455
Clip, holding down the lamp: NA63941

Here are a couple of pictures of the enclosure:

At first glance, this Hitachi enclosure looks similar to other enclosures reviewed on this site, but there are a few minor, but extremely important differences. All in all this enclosure is compatible with at least the following TVs:
50V500
50V500A
50VX500
60V500
60V500A
60VX500

So what’s different about this enclosure?

The rear "pull out" view of the enclosure is shown here. Shown with arrows, we have EX1) and EX2) .

In the picture above, you can see (EX1 ) that no visible hole drilled out on the Hitachi UX21511 Type A, however, on other Hitachi enclosures such as the UX21513 Type B, this area has been drilled out.

In photo3, we’re looking at the area EX2 (opposite side of the enclosure), which has been drilled out and is stamped with an "A"

The Hitachi 55VS69 is a high definition television using the LCD technology and has a screen size of 55 inches when measured diagonally. With the use of the LCD technology Hitachi has managed to keep the set very compact and lightweight inspite of its huge size. The dimensions of the set are 50 ¾ inches in width, 34 ¼ inches in height and 18 inches in depth. The weight of the set is a measly 86 pounds which is quite commendable considering the size.

The Hitachi 55VS69 has been well designed not just in terms of the compactness but also with respect to the design and styling. The front of the cabinet has been kept clean and tidy with the channel and volume buttons located at the side with other inputs and outputs on the backside. The placement of the speakers inside the cabinet at the bottom of the screen has allowed the manufacturers reduce the width of the set by a precious few inches.

The set is cable TV ready with the inclusion of a CableCard slot which eliminates the need and the hassles to go for separate set top boxes. The native resolution of the set is 1280 X 720 which is sufficient for any input sources at 720p. As far as the performance is concerned the Hitachi 55VS69 is quite good (even though not the best) and is certainly worth a look if you are looking for a large screen size without wasting too much space.

LCD HDTV’s till now have not exactly been given the attention that is normally bestowed upon the other versions like the DLP or flat panel sets. But this set proves that the LCD technology will not be knocked out of the race so easily, as it makes quite an effort with some good performance and a decent list of features. In screen door effect you can easily see the space between the pixels especially during bright scenes. The speakers have been intelligently placed inside the cabinet at the bottom of the screen which reduces the width of the set on both sides of the screen by quite a few inches.

The dimensions of the set are 57 inches in width, 35 inches in height and 19 ½ inches in depth. The set weighs in at just above 100 pounds. The set offers a good performance giving good colors although there is room for improvement as far as the black levels are concerned.

The Hitachi 50VG825 is a 50” high definition, rear projection television using LCD technology and is from Hitachi’s Ultravision CineForm. The set offers a native resolution of 1280 X 720 at 720p with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The cabinet is metallic black and has been very elegantly designed. The set is 16.4” in depth and weighs in at 110 pounds, which is quite commendable and makes the installation easier even in less space.

The colors produced by the set are rich and vibrant. The brightness levels too are sufficient. The contrast levels are average but the black levels are slightly disappointing. The three-line digital comb filter is used to clear any visual interference. The Hitachi 50VG825 also comes with a USB slot, which enables the user to view data in the form of photos or videos directly from the digital camera or pendrive.

The three way speaker system provides excellent sound quality. The remote has most of the features of the set and is fully illuminated which is a very important feature in case you have to use it in the dark. The set uses a user replaceable lamp which is said to have a life of 10000 hours which will last you for about a couple of years depending on the basis of daily usage. The set is also equipped with a CableCard slot, which enables the user to view cable TV without the need of additional set top boxes.
