Sorry for the late reply, so I am currently running the TV with it shutting off about after a hour. I checked and dusted the inside of the TV. I am currently running it with the switch for the housing panel taped down and the door off for more ventilation. When it turns off and I turn it back on it ...

Samsung HLP4663w turn off issue
So here is the deal, TV purchased in July 2005 and no issues. 2 months ago the lamp blew up and i replaced with a philips branded bulb and housing. Perfect for 2 months.
