Someone advised me to get the service manual and to see what settings needed to be adjusted after a light engine replacement. I set the tv settings to the default settings in the service manual and everything was sharp and perfect, even the dark images and shadows.

Here is some more info: Sometimes the color is all red or blue or black & white. Most of the time any dark or shadow is blurry with a greenish tint. The light engine that I replaced had everything but the lamp. Hope this helps.
