Just bumping... to let all know that this February will be 6 mos since replacing the thermostat and all is still well with the TV. Hopefully this may help someone else with similar issues. :)

Finally one day the TV just started turning on and off, on and off... Now that's all it does. Did you try to test or swap out the thermostat? It's so cheap to do it's defintialy worth it to try. See my thread here:

mainesheets, be sure that when you have the back cover and lamp door off the TV and you try to jump the thermostat you don't forget to "close" the lamp door switch with a piece of tape to hold it in the closed position. I read your other post and I've also seen others say you need to reset...
