Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

That doesn't sound like the DVB is a problem, so I think I'm going to hang it up. I appreciate your help and advice, but it looks like there isn't a solution readily available. When I bought the unit, DLP looked (to me) like a superior picture, and it was certainly priced somewhat better than LCD or...

Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

I'm still not sure what you mean by attaching an analog source. I did attach the antenna, but only could get a couple stations out of the 8-10 potential in the region. But I thought they were digital now, not analog. I disconnected my VHS about 4 years ago, don't know what else I could attach to che...

Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

Sorry-I'm a retired English professor! Yep--TV is fed by one HDMI cable. I'm using my receiver as an AV switcher: 4 in, one out, though I only have two in at the moment, Satellite box and BluRay disc. I appreciate your patience over the days! I'm really beginning to think I'm just going to have to l...

Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

I'm not sure how to answer your question. The only TV inputs are HDMI cables. I used to have a 75 ohm coax attached to an anttenna, but I'm out in the country a bit so never used it and I didn't hook it up when I shifted to full HDMI. No other inputs.

Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

I'm using HDMI for both--from the units to a Denon receiver, then a single cable to the TV.

Re: HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

It seems to. I've only tried playing a DVD, in addition to my normal HD satellite viewing. My son came by and mentioned that he thought he remembered something similar, though not so extreme, when I first got the TV five or so years ago. I kind of remembered that, vaguely, but it seems to have "...

HLR4266WX/XAA picture solarizing

To solve a different problem, after a bunch of online searching I found a few other sites (unfotunately not this one!) and replaced my color wheel. Figuring it was about time (6 years or so) I also changed the lamp. I ended up calling my parts sources and giving them the model, serial #, and other i...
