Ballast Power Supply Wire Question

I have an hl50a650c1fxza and I need to replace 1 of the 2 wires that leads to the lamp. Does the red power pull out from where it connects to the ballast power supply?

Question About Samsung HL50A650C1FXZA Lamp Wire

The connector to the lamp assembly burned out. The TV was still working when it went. I need to know if I can remove the red wire and replace that with a new one. Does it simply pull out of the end connector?

Help With HL50A650C1FXZA Lamp Connector

When I took out the lamp assembly the connector came off also. The red wire on the left side of two that the lamp assembly plugs into has to be replaced. How do I remove it? Can I simply unplug it where it goes into the black round connector?
