hello japaul, when you turn the TV on, can you tell if the lamp is igniting or not? (is there backlight on screen?) this might just be a ballast issue if it the lamp is not coming on. Hitachi 50v500 replaced bulb still no picure
still have no pic
bulb is lit
open unit i see looks like bent capacitors all over one of the system board
can that cause a no pic condition
i can leave tv on for hours and pic doesnt appear only sound
