I have not changed anything other than the bulb. The tv turns on and will turn off 1-3 times before staying on. I am ok with that for a basically free tv, once it is on it works perfectly. I am gonna hold off on making a repair for know. If it becomes worse and is unbearable, I will make a decision ...

I was recently given a Samsung HL S5087W. It was given to friend with no picture and 3 flashing led's. He took a chance and installed an aftermarket bulb. The picture returned with no flashing leds. So I bought it from him for the cost of the bulb. The tv worked great with a very clear but dim pictu...
