well i was hoping to get ansers on my other questions so i downloaded the repair manual .. and i still cant figure this out. so my question is ther is a blue and brown wire coming from teh power suppy to the ballast.... on a samsung hlp5063wx , now i took a meter and i only show 180 volts on the bro...

please help ,,,,,,,,,the bulb fires up , the fans fire up i check the back door switch..

the tv will turn on with sound and video for 2 or 3 mins then shuts offf .........
with 3 light flashing what can this be please help .

i am having the same problem with a hlp5063w 51inch...

i have picture and sound only for 1 to 2 mins. then it will shut down i have tried the door switch also.

i can see the bulb fire so im in the same boat as u ..dont want to order it because i feel thats not it.

well what the tv is doing .... it will power on with picture and sound and after about 2 to 3 mins of usage it will shut down and flash all 3 indicator lights on front panel. open the back door i can seee the bulb fire up and can see the one fan spinning on the heat sink ...what else to do what can ...
