TV not turning on

Hi guys/girls so I bought a tv off of my friend but it is giving me trouble. He told me the bulb needed to be replaced which he already had so I put it in and it worked for a few days but now it doesn't. He did say it was a cheap bulb so that could be the problem. I called samsung and they said if the three lights on the tv are blinking it is the bulb, however the lights are not blinking. When I plug in the tv it tries to turn on (makes weird noise and little flashes coming from where the bulb is) A short video link is below. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

My 7 year-old Samsung 61" DLP just started not turning on...it makes this moaning sound like an airplane on descent...picture is blank. Any ideas what the problem is?
