Dark images/shadows blurry after color wheel

Postby msbob7 » Sat Aug 15, 2009 3:30 pm

After I replaced the light engine in my HLP5063W, all dark images and shadows are blurry. Do I need to reset something?

Here is some more info: Sometimes the color is all red or blue or black & white. Most of the time any dark or shadow is blurry with a greenish tint. The light engine that I replaced had everything but the lamp. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Bob

Someone advised me to get the service manual and to see what settings needed to be adjusted after a light engine replacement. I set the tv settings to the default settings in the service manual and everything was sharp and perfect, even the dark images and shadows.
