Samsung lamp

have a HLN4365W, 5 years old with origonal bulb. Last night it just shut down. Now when you turn it on the sound works, picture black, only the lamp light blinks, shuts back down in about 30 seconds by itself then comes back on. Must unplug to stop this sequence. Does this sound like it needs a bulb?

Thanks, just pulled bulb out and center post is broken. Ordering bulb. Hope that is all it is.
