High Contrast in Arizona

Postby dshocker » Tue Jan 19, 2010 5:04 pm

Hello. Thank you for hosting this discussion.

Last week I lost color on my HLR4266W. I had the color wheel replaced. Everything looks great now except for very high contrast and blacks almost look green. Adjusting the contrast level in the menu doesn't seem to help. I've searched the internet and this site for similar issues but I haven't found any. Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you again,

Dave in PHX

Check and make sure the part number of your color wheel is the currect one. you may of received a bad color wheel. The service menu it may give you a choice of what color wheel you are using. With the tv turned off press mute 1 8 2 power look threw the menus to make sure there isn't an option.
