HELP ME!!!! HLS5679W

I've searched allllll over the internet and i can't figure out what the pixeld looking thing is goin across the screen. it went away the other day, then the next day i turned it back on and it popped back up. can sumone please help me out?!?!?!?

Wow it looks like its either the digital video board or the DMD, how ever try to bring up the TV menu, if the menu is also affected, then it’s the DMD board, if not then check your digital video board for any swollen capacitors.

well when i do the Mute 1, 8, 2, power thing it still comes up. so if it's the DMD, is it the chip or the whole board?

It seems like the DMD Board is what is causing the above problem. I see only a slight difference in price between DMD and Light Engine on Discount-Merchant.com. I would recommend a light engine (comes with DMD Board), this way you get a spare color wheel and light tunnel that can have your TV runing for years to come. You can just install the engine you purchase and use your old engine for parts.
