Slight & Occasional Color shift on Samsung HLS6187

Hello all,
My Samsung HLS6187W DLP is showing very sudden but subtle color shifts which happen approx 2 or 3 times every 4-6 hours of viewing.
The picture just suddenly changes with a very slight shift to a bluer picture or to a warmer picture. Many people might not even
notice if they weren't paying close attention?

I had the lamp and ballast replaced 2 1/2 month ago because both went bad. About a month after the replacement I started noticing this
occasional color shift but it feels like the shifts are slowly increasing in frequency. It felt like it was only happening once a week when it started
and now I'm seeing it shift every evening.

Doesn't seem like it could be the new lamp or ballast? Any ideas what's going wrong?

( I'm watching Hi Def Cable via HDMI DVR and it's happening on both live and on DVR playback so I don't think it could be the DVR? )

It is very probable that you have a bad color wheel. The actual barring can be decalibrated by regular usage.
