My 50" DLP no longer turns on. I noticed that a few weeks ago the screen started to go dark then went dark all together and all three lights on the front blink does this mean that the bulb is no longer working. If so why don't I get sound is sound tied into the bulb somehow.

Probably is the bulb. When they go out, the tv basically shuts down all together and just gives the error code (blinking lights)
