Screen Blinks When Changing Channels

when changing channels, TV will display the channel for a second, blink/screen goes black for a second, and then the picture will come back and be fine. It does this only when changing channels. It started a couple of years ago when I changed the bulb. I just changed it again and it is still happening. Any advice how to resolve this? It is an annoyance.
