Blueish hue / cast

Samsung hlt5687sx, 2.5 years old. Went out to run some errands this morning and left it on. Came home and the screen was black but had audio. Turned it off and then turned it back on. There is a distinctive blue hue to the entire picture and I mean blue. Unplugged it and let it sit for a while but that did nothing positive. No abnormal sounds coming from the rear. Same color whether in menu mode, xbox, or Direct tv receiver.

I can't find a similar problem after scouring the net.

probably your LCD projection has been damaged. I'd check into that part first.
