I have a Samsung R6178, the overall picture quality is fine. However, on the right side of the screen there is a vertical 'bar' where the picture is lighter. There isn't any discontinuity in the picture as far as I can tell. Almost as if part of the picture were going through a filter and that last section isn't. On the screen the bar is about 2" wide.

any ideas?

hi did you ever get a resolution to this problem? i have the same issue and would like to know if you learned what causes this and can it be fixed.
