problems with lamp door not shut properly

Hello I have a Samsung HLt5075s replaced the bulb but now I get the first and last light flashing telling me the lamp door not shut properly. I have played with the little blue switch like put the door on with it up or put the door on with it down put the TV will turn on for 2 seconds then the kicks out and the first and last light flashing. Could the switch be bad? Any help would be appreciated

Very common problem after replacing the lamp once or twice, luckily they are available online!
