My 50″ DLP Samsung, is making a load screeching sound. Any thought on what it is and is it worth fixing?

probably the color wheel. somewhat of an easy fix. there are alot of online directions for that replacement. about 100 bucks for the part and about another 100-200 if you need someone to put it in for you. My local tv repairman quoted me 225 for the parts and labor if i brought my tv in to him. I just did it myself, it was easy for me.
