Doesn't matter what remote i use, TV will turn off and on over and over. Any ideas? I'm new to this so any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

TV is 50" Samsung DLP model #Model # HL50A650C1FXZA
about 1 and 1/2 years old. Never had any problems, if I dont press anything the TV will stay on all day and picture looks amazing, no defects. Just started doing it when i moved to a new place and turned it on for the first time..

at first thought it could be a stuck button somewhere.
.. either on the remote or on the button set on your television.

could be the IR code too on your remote i guess. you can get a brand new remote from DM to see if that fixes the problem. if not, check the buttons on your tv to see if it's stuck somewhere. if you've moved, chances are a little tiny plastic piece somewhere could have come loose or broken off during the transition.
