Hello,
I have recently changed the colorwheel on my HLR6167w. I know it was bad because when I took it apart, it was broken. After putting it back together I cannot get the TV to come on. Starts with welcome chime as if it is going to come on, then lamp light blinks for a minute, then, all three lights blink.
After reading many post it seems as if I now have a ballast problem. The tv never gave any syptoms, it worked perfect since the day I bought it. The night it went out It made the colorwheel noises and exhibited other colorwheel symptoms.
Has anyone ever had colorwheel and balast go out at the same time. Has anyone ever installed colorwheel and got no pict afterwards. I am at a loss, and not sure if I wanna throw more money at the problem.
Thanks
Colorwheel vs ballast
