I just replaced my color wheel on my hsl5086w because i had the colors on my screen fading in and out..problem remained the same after i replaced the wheel.i ran the two tests in the main menu after i replaced my wheel and the color is still fading.i also replaced the lamp 2 months ago.
any help would be great

it could be in the digital board or the dmd board.

thanks jason. whats the best way to find out which is the problem..
another problem i just ran into is i was trying to see if there was anything wrong or broken in the back of the t.v..so i removed the board that holds the color wheel and etc..when i put everything back together i turned on my tv and the picture is 2inches higher now.any help on this issue will be great

it's not alined now. you have to loosen it back up and use a mirror to try and aline it if you see a black bar. if you do not see a black bar then with the tv off press mute 1 8 2 power. and you can ajust the screen . you can move it up and down or side to side.
