AV and Svideo Input gives a distorted display, lot of green and pink checker board.
HDMI and Component Works fine.
Now here is the caught, I am able to display the AV or s Video in PIP and get sound from everything.
I am just trying to figure out if this is a Analog PCB, Making no sense, No AV/ S video displaying but will show perfect in PIP.
Any clarifying is appreciated, im thinking of ordering Analog PCB but figured i get some Opinions first.

Thanks

If you look in the past others have had this same issue. It's the digital board. if you know how to remove the board. you can send it in to a guy to have the solder reflowed. or if you don't trust his repair the board can be bought from http://www.samsungparts.com

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0415773652

also your issue should show up in the tuner under SD channels and will look normal under HD channels. if you are using a hdmi cable for your cable or the composit inputs you won't see the green plaid look.

ps You can also try discount merchant for the part but most of the time they dont have it in stock. If they have it it will be less then going threw samsungparts.com

oh I forgot to say the one board isn't listed on that reflow ebay listing but it works also for part number BP94-02084A, BP94-02084A is a replacement board for the other board numbers. my hlr5067wax/xaa has the BP-02084A. I am the one that tracked it down to the dnie chip on the digital board. if you want to read more about this issue check out http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/samsung/

Look at the topic for the hlr6167wax/xaa the long topic. at first we tried putting pressure on the chip and it worked for a short time. The only real fix is a reflow or a board replacement.

the hlr__67w sets had this issue. 46-61" models

also report this issue on http://forums.cnet.com/5208-13973_102-0 ... ts#3187638

we are hopping that samsung mans up and takes care of this issue.
