Hello,
I have an old VS-60707 which has sound but no picture. None of the bulbs are on. This has the 3 bulbs red, green, blue. I have cleaned the dust out of the tv and there are no damaged circuits on the board, I have ran the code check on the tv and I get the 1-2 flashes meaning everything is checking out OK. I have voltage at the component which feeds the i believe to be the ballast, but can read no voltage at the ballast. Is the ballast the component which feeds all 3 of the bulbs and looks like a distributor (black with 1 wire coming in and 3 wires going out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
no the ballast feeds the lamp about 15kV so i do not recommend testing it. this part is also notorious for malfunctioning on Mits. models.
When was the last time you replaced the lamp?
