Mitsubishi 73733. While I'm watching the TV it will suddenly ~~[i]~~mute the audio[/i] for about a second. It seems to happen randomly.

I think it may have something to do with HDMI but not sure.

Picture is not effected while this happens.

Anyone have any ideas on what I should be looking at to fix this?

An audio dropout occurs when the audio portion of your program stops and then restarts a second later. This phenomenon can be caused any of the following issues:

Faulty firmware

A weak signal

HDMI handshake sync problems

A faulty HDMI cable

Faulty HDMI ports or circuitry.
