When turning on my TV, it goes through the traditional crystal LED lights but it does it about 50 times, then flashes beside the bulb indicator lamp about 7 or 8 times, then goes back to power off.

I have replaced the bulb, now I am not sure what to do next. Called LG not much help. Anyone have any ideas.

that indicator works for the whole lamp/ballast system, so maybe there's a problem with the ballast. perhaps take it into the repair facility to ask them to see if the ballast is arcing. the ballast needs to shot high voltage into that lamp so if it can't do that, the lamp won't like up. if the problem isn't with the ballast, perhaps its with the light engine itself.. either way, you might have to put some money into it to figure it out, unless you want to just buy parts and do a trial and error method--which i don't recommend.
