I just picked up one of these off of CL for super cheap because it's really REALLY dim. Previous owner bought a new lamp from Buy.com, the one they list seems to be correct, but it's still very dim. I reset the lamp timer with no change. I took the rear assembly apart, it was caked with a ton of clay dust we get in my region. Cleaned it all out really well and reassembled it, but it's still dim, and is also showing yellow discoloration on the left side, and magenta on the top right. So I bought this on ebay:

I'm betting it'll take care of the discoloration. What remains is figuring out why the picture is still so dim with a new lamp. I think I'm reading ballast is the next thing to replace, but I'm not understanding which piece is the ballast I don't think. Is it the board that the power cord comes into? Is it also called a power board? If I'm unable to find a replacement ballast, would it be beneficial to try replacing capacitors on the existing one?
Thanks!
