toshiba 52hm94 hd dlp

My toshiba modle# 52hm94 hd-dlp. will not start. tryes to start 4to5 times then red and green light flash,do i need a new bulb

got tv 2-21-2005 just got 5th lamp and does not work tryes to restart after the eighth time red and green light blinks owners manual sayes lamp is not working properly.
