10 minute before picture appears

:twisted: Hello to anyone that can help.I have a mitsubishi projection tv.They also said to say DLP.Its about 6 years old and has had no problems until now.It takes about 10 minutes for the picture to appear and it doesnt seem as crisp of a picture as it use to.Sears tech. department wouldnt give give any over the phone thoughts they said because of legal matters.I think it may be a projection bulb but i dont know.They did say if i had a warranty they could mail me the part and i could install it.It leaves me to believe its a simple repair.Please help if you can...Thanks.
