sanyo dp42746 has problems

a 4 in. vertical line appered on my screen yesterday,i read where a buffer board might of went bad.my problem is that i cant find anyone to fix it.can i buy a board and install it myself?

It also sounds like you have a case of a collapsed light tunnel, to find out more check this link. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1353 dose it appear in the component cables & HDMI? Try to bring up the TV menu, see if the vertical gray line also affects it. If so then it’s a defective DMD board. if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
Make sure you know what the problem is before you start making repairs.
