Fix Your DLP Wizard

The television turns on, but there is distorted picture or pixilation.

The picture is pixilated.

Pixilation can occur if you have a faulty light engine or processor. The DMD, or Digital Micromirror Device, may be to blame here. Contact an authorized repair center or service technician to resolve this issue. Discount-Merchant.com is also more than happy to help troubleshoot this. Simply take a photo of your TV screen and we'll point you in the right direction.

If your picture has black or fading bars, it is definitely not the lamp. The lamp only acts as a light source. The light is then processed and reflected through a series of other components and mirrors which may be causing this issue.

Philips UHP lamps only fail about .03% of the time out of the factory. That's 3 in 10,000! If you've already purchased a lamp, give us a call and we'll do our best to help you.
