Your Vivitek D326MX projector uses the Vivitek 5811116206-S projector lamp. Before changing the projector lamp do the following safety steps:

  • Reduce the risk of electrical shock by disconnecting the power cord on the Vivitek D326MX projector.

  • You are now ready to reset the lamp timer.

Installing the replacement Optoma BL-FP180E lamp

Pre-installation safety Preparation:

Follow these important safety tips before installing a new Optoma BL-FP180E into your Optoma GT360 projector.

  • Switch off the power to the projector by pressing the Power/Standby button.
  • Allow the projector to cool down for at least 30 minutes. If should be cool to the touch. The Optoma GT360 runs at a high temperature and you can burn yourself badly if you don’t allow the projector to cool down.
  • Disconnect the power cord.

Remove the old lamp

1: Use a screwdriver to loosen the two screws holding the projector lamp cover in place. The Optoma GT360 should be cool to the touch.

2: Remove the lamp cover and place to one side. Don’t lose the screws to the cover as the projector will not turn back on until the projector lamp cover has been properly installed.

3: Remove both screws holding the BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) in place.Lift the wire handle on the lamp and gently remove it from the projector. Be careful not to hit the lamp or you can cause it to break.

NOTE: The BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) contains mercury and should be properly recycled. Don’t throw into the regular garbage.

Install the new lamp:

a. Take the new Optoma BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) projector lamp out of its packaging and lift the handle on the lamp.

b. Gently place it into the projector making sure not to touch the actual bulb. Oil from fingerprint marks can burn black spots onto the lamp when it heats up.

c. Tighten the screws on the projector lamp.

d. Close the lid. Tighten the cover screws. You are now ready to reset the lamp timer.

Step 4: Reset the Optoma GT360 projector lamp timer

Your Optoma GT360 comes equipped with an automatic projector lamp timer that tracks the number of hours left for the BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) lamp. Each time you change the lamp you need to reset the lamp timer. Failure to do so may cause the projector to use the lamp over the recommended period of time resulting in the lamp exploding.

Replacing the projector lamp

  • Wait until the projector is cool to the touch before removing the lamp. These projector work at a high temperatures and you can get badly burned.
  • Be sure to unplug the projector before replacing the lamp.

Reset the lamp timer

After changing the 3M 78-6969-8778-9 projector lamp you need to reset the lamp timer so the 3M MP8725B projector will turn back on. To reset:

  • Press the Reset button on the projector or Menu On button on the remote
  • When the total lamp hours are displayed, use the arrow button on the projector or the disc pad to select 0 (or CANCEL).

Extend the projector lamp life

  • Keep your air filters clean to avoid overheating the projector.
  • Turn off the 3M MP8725B projector projector projector and let it stand for at least one hour ever 24 hours. An average use of four to five hours per day will ensure longer lamp life.

When it’s time to replace the Viewsonic PJD5231 projector, you’ll notice the Power LED lamp light becomes a bright blue and Lamp LED becomes bright red. A series of warning message will start showing on screen.

Final warning: The Viewsonic RLC-055 projector lamp The lamp MUST be replaced before the projector will operate normally.

Installing the Viewsonic RLC-055 lamp

  • NEVER change the lamp unless the Viewsonic PJD5231 projector is cool to the touch. The PJD5231 operates under extremely high temperatures and you can burn yourself quite badly.

  • Disconnect the power cord.

Use a screwdriver to undo the screw holding the lamp cover in place. Remove the lamp cover, being careful not to lose the screws.

Slide the lid — slowly — off the projector. and place to one side. Don’t lose the lid because the Viewsonic PJD5231 projector will not turn back if the lamp cover hasn’t been installed properly.

  • A warning message is displayed asking if you want to reset the lamp timer.
  • Highlight the Reset option
  • The lamp time will be reset to ‘0’.

Your Epson EMP-755 has a built-in timer to track the life of the Epson ELPLP32 projector lamp. So, it’s very important that you reset the lamp timer every time you replace the Epson ELPLP32 projector lamp. Here’s how:

Step 1: Know when to replace

You can expect up to 2100 hours (up to 3100 hours in Eco mode) from your Dukane ImagePro 8769 projector lamp. When it time to replace the Dukane ImagePro 8769 projector lamp, you may notice a faded image or colors that are not correct. Replace the projector lamp immediately when you see the message : The lamp has reached the end of its usable life. Please replace the lamp.”

DO NOT KEEP USING THE FINISHED LAMP when it has reached end of life. If  you continue using the projector lamp beyond the recommended times, Dukane ImagePro 8769 will go into standby mode.  Press the HELP button on the remote control for 10 seconds to reset the lamp timer to zero and replace the projector lamp immediately.

Step 3: Replacing the projector lamp

The Dukane ImagePro 8769 projector uses the Dukane 456-8767A projector lamp. Before installing a new projector lamp do the following safety steps:

  • Reduce the risk of electrical shock by disconnecting the power cord on the projector.
  • Reduce the risk of severe burns by allowing the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes. It should be cool to the touch.

Protect the Dukane ImagePro 8769 projector’s top surface by placing it face down on a soft surface. Turn the projector over and loosen the screws on the lamp cover.

Use a Philips screwdriver to push and release the tab. Push up and remove the lamp cover. NOTE: There is an interlock on this case to prevent the risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to circumvent this interlock.

Loosen the two screws securing the Dukane 456-8767A projector lamp. The screws are not removable so will start start freewheeling. Remove the lamp by grabbing onto the indents on the lamp and pulling up.

Never force the lamp out; pulling too quickly can cause the bulb to shatter. Learn what to do should the bulb shatter.

NOTE: The Dukane 456-8767A projector lamp projector lamp contains mercury and should not be thrown into regular garbage. Recycle your used lamps!

Gently put in a new Dukane 456-8767A projector lamp and tighten the two screws to hold the lamp in place. Make sure the screws are secure as a loose screw can cause a bad connection while a over tightened screw may cause the lamp to notwork.

Replace the lamp cover on the projector.

Slip the lamp cover back until it snaps into place.

Restart the projector to reset the lamp timer.

Resetting the lamp timer

It’s important to set the lamp timer so the Dukane ImagePro 8769 can accurately track the life of the newly installed Dukane 456-8767A projector lamp.

Step 1: Know when to replace the lamp

When the Toshiba TDP-D1 projector lamp is running out of time you’ll notice the picture has poor color quality or may appear dimmer than usual. When the projector lamps reaches the end  of life at 1,500 hours, the bulb icon will appear and a message “Replace your lamp” appears.

Step 2: Buy an authentic projector lamp

Your Toshiba TDP-D1 uses the Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689. It may be confusing trying to find the correct projector lamp since there are so many choices. It’s avoid getting duped into buying a counterfeit  lamp posing as an authentic lamp. Always look for the seal of approval and watch for telltale signs you are about to purchase a counterfeit lamp:

Step 3: Installing the projector lamp

Follow these important safety tips before changing the projector lamp:

  • Switch off the power to the projector by pressing the Power/Standby button.
  • After waiting 30 seconds, disconnect the power cord.
  • Allow the projector to cool down for at least 30 minutes. If should be cool to the touch. The Toshiba TDP-D1 projectors run using high temperatures and you can burn yourself badly if you don’t allow the projector to cool down.

Loosen the two screws holding the lamp cover in place. and remove the lamp cover.

 

Loosen the three screws holding the Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689 projector lamp in place, and pull on the handle to remove the lamp. Recycle the burnt out Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689 properly as these lamps do contain mercury.

Get the new Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689 replacement lamp ready. Align the orientation, press down until the bottom is reached, and lock in place using the three lamp locking screws.

Replace the lamp cover. You are now ready to reset the lamp timer.

Reset the replacement projector lamp timer

Each time you change the lamp you need to reset the lamp timer. Failure to do so may cause the projector to use the lamp over the recommended period of 2000 hours time resulting in the projector lamp exploding.

  • Press the SETTING MENU button to display the menu screen.

Replacing the projector lamp

The Christie DS+65 projector is fitted with two individual projection lamps. Using the Lamp Sub-Menu, you can select a dual or single lamp mode. The lamps can also be replaced separately as needed. Eco-mode reducing the power for longer lamp life.

Before changing the projector lamp:

  • Allow the Christie DS+65 projector to cool down for at least 45 minutes. This projector operates at an extremely high temperature and you can get burned. Don’t rush it.
  • Unplug the electrical cord so there is no chance the projector could get turned on during the installation. This could damage your projector and also give you a shock.

To replace the projector lamp:

  • Pulling too quickly can cause the bulb to shatter. Learn what to do if the lamp breaks.
  • Replace the lamp assembly with a new Christie 003-000884-01. Be careful not to touch the actual bulb as oil from your fingers can leave black marks on the lamp. If you are replacing only one lamp, be sure not to touch the remaining lamp
  • Tighten the three screws on the replacement lamp.
  • Put back the lamp cover and tighten its two screws.
  • Connect the AC power cord to the Christie DS+65 and turn on the projector to reset the lamp timer.

  • Avoid frequent on and offs to avoid power surges.
