will not turn right back on

looking for advice when I watch my TV for about 3 hours and turn it off. If I say try to turn it back on right away it will not allow me and all three lights light constantly blink. But after say an 15 to 20 minute rest then it'll power back up.

HEllo!
depending on how long ago you changed your lamp this is most likely a lamp about to go out. If you recently changed your lamp say a month ago, then I would look for buzzing sounds when it goes out or turns on for it can be an indicator of a weak Ballast...
