Will a projector bulb dim over time and then burn out?

Yes, this happens with every projector and tv lamps. Lamp contains mercury which dissipate over time, which is necessary to ignite the lamp :)

If you need a lamp you can buy from Discount-Merchant.com at great prices. They sell original lamps and have best customer service.

Suggestion: Make sure to buy original lamp only. Buying generic lamps may cause other tv parts go bad and do not have the same picture quality and life span.
