Greetings. Hope you can give me some insight. Was watching my tv this morning, and then all of a sudden it started to make a loud noise, similar to an air conditioner running, or even a lawn mower. The color also faded.
What could it be? Can I purchase replacement parts if need be? Is the TV shot?
Any advice, is greatly appreciated.

It seems to be your colorwheel. That explains the noise and the color issue. You can search the replacement part at D-M or any other dealer.

thanks for the reply. I have a guy coming to look at it on Thursday night. Hopefully, I can get this fixed in a week or so.
I looked at other posts and did a Google search, and thought it was the color wheel.
Sucks that I have to have a guy do it, as I am not tech savvy at all.
