The TV doesn't turn on, or there is no power to the television.

If the previous advice wasn't helpful, try this: Do you hear your ballast "click?" The ballast is what powers the lamp. Initially, UHP lamps need to be jump-started with a lot of energy. The ballast will make a clicking noise as it starts up the lamp. If there is no clicking noise, there may be no power to the ballast or the lamp.

I do not hear a clicking noise.

I hear a clicking noise, but still the TV does not power on.

I hear a rapid clicking noise.

I'd like to try something else.
